About My Tutoring Service
My service stands out because of my flexibility and commitment to meeting the students and doing whatever I can to help them succeed. I do more than just help the students with their homework. I help them understand what they are learning, I give them different ways to think about problems through real world examples. I always have a second method to teach if they are having trouble understanding the first way. I am a resource that they can lean on and learn from. Most of my pride in tutoring comes from seeing their eyes light up when they finally understand that topic that's been evading them for so long.
I have been tutoring for 4 years, 2 at college, and 2 for various tutoring companies, such as Carnegie Prep and Varsity Tutors. I spent the majority of my time tutoring college students, however recently I have been helping more high school and middle school students. My best subjects are in the mathematics and statistics field; however I do have a wide array of skills that branch into standardized testing and economics.
Now I want to take my skills directly to people so they don't have to go through a company. This way they are dealing with a friendly knowledgeable face.
If you choose me, don't feel intimidated to reach out and discuss what's been giving you problems. I am here to help you and I want you to feel comfortable talking about things that are not coming natural to you. So be willing to talk about what you are struggling in and be open to improvement; I am going to put my all into you and if you do the same you'll be very impressed by the results.

Extremely helpful in getting a handle on what I am dealing with and the challenges I have, and dove straight into my issues and preparing me with both fundamentals and what I need to succeed for a test Wed. Followed up with another appointment time for Tuesday so I can be ready as possible for the test. Stayed late to explain some harder questions and understands this is a very important time for me. Thank you for all of your help mark you are the 5th tutor I’ve had on varsity and the only one who didn’t get frustrated when I didn’t understand and actually cared. You’re a gem and thanks to you I can finally move on to higher ed. I’m graduating but I’m going to leave you the beat review I can and recommend. Marc has been really helpful in teaching me concepts and helping me get homework done so I can understand it and be able to practice these concepts on my own which is really helpful. Also it's great to have calculator tips and shortcuts that make problems easier to solve.
